As communications director, Angel is the primary point of contact for all media inquiries and manages all of the communications channels for CMPM and MCGA. She is also the staff point of contact for issues related to international market development and trade policy.

Angel was born and raised in Michigan. She holds a BA from James Madison College at Michigan State University. She began her career working for the Michigan House of Representatives and transitioned from there to a multi-client communications firm where she worked on a broad array of issues from agriculture to organized labor. Angel joined the Michigan Corn team in 2014.
