Angel was born and raised in Michigan. She holds a BA from James Madison College at Michigan State University. She began her career working for the Michigan House of Representatives and transitioned from there to a multi-client communications firm where she worked on a broad array of issues from agriculture to organized labor. Angel joined the Corn Marketing Program of Michigan team in 2014 where she handles marketing and communications as well as trade and ethanol policy.
