Member Benefits

MCGA members and their kids (ages 17-25) are eligible for the following three scholarships:

  1. The MCGA scholarship awards (5) $2,000 one-year scholarship to full-time students enrolled in post-secondary education in the fall semester.
  2. The MCGA Frank Lipinski scholarship is for students from a non-ag background who are pursuing an ag degree. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at a post-secondary educational institution pursuing an agricultural degree during the spring semester. Applicants must come from a non-agriculture/farm background. One student will be awarded up to $2,000 and can only be awarded the scholarship once. For both scholarships, applications can be attained from the MCGA office or online at http://www.micorn.org/.
  3. National Corn Growers Association Scholarships: There are currently four national scholarships offered for four distinct audiences: Research Students, Technical School/Community College Students, Undergraduate Students and Graduate Students. Read more here.
