MCGA Scholarships
Annual MCGA scholarships are now open.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
The Michigan Corn Growers Association (MCGA) board of directors has established a student scholarship. All members of the MCGA, including students, growers and associates, as well as children of members, between the ages of 17-25 are qualified. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at a post-secondary educational institution during the fall 2026 semester in order to be eligible. All applications must be received by the Michigan Corn Growers Association office no later than Tuesday, February 2, 2027.
Five scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each will be awarded. Finalists will be asked to participate in on-site or Zoom interviews at the Michigan Corn office. Checks will be mailed in the fall. Students are only eligible to win an MCGA scholarship one time.
The application must include a membership identification number. The MCGA policy states that one membership equals one person. Only one application per membership number will be accepted.
Students in an accredited agricultural program are eligible for a one-year membership in the MCGA for $20. Grower and associate memberships in the MCGA are $75 for one year and $190 for three years. Membership in the MCGA automatically includes membership in the National Corn Growers Association.
