Michigan Corn Growers Respond to Tariffs
In response to the tariffs imposed between the United States and its trading partners, Michigan Corn Growers Association President Randy Poll released the following statement:
“Farmers are already facing tough economic times brought on by the increasing cost of production and declining corn prices, and we are concerned about any action that could further increase costs or drive down prices. Mexico, Canada, and China are important markets for U.S. corn farmers. We ask President Trump to quickly negotiate agreements with Mexico, Canada and China that address important issues between our countries and restore market access for American farmers.”
